Aim & Scope

Perspectives in Education, Development & Social Sciences (PEDS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing original, high-quality scholarship in the fields of education, development studies, and social sciences. The primary aim of the journal is to foster critical and innovative research that contributes to academic knowledge, policy formulation, and practical applications within these interconnected disciplines.

The scope of PEDS is deliberately interdisciplinary, welcoming contributions that cross traditional academic boundaries and encourage dialogue between educators, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers. By providing an inclusive platform, the journal seeks to highlight contemporary debates, emerging perspectives, and evidence-based practices that address global and local challenges in education and society.

Areas of Interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Education: teaching and learning strategies, curriculum studies, assessment and evaluation, educational technology, higher education policy, teacher development, inclusive education, and lifelong learning.

Types of Contributions Accepted:
